We are a centre of excellence for hybrid and electric vehicle repair. Our team undergo extensive safety training alongside specific training and accreditations from our manufacturer partners that is required to work on electric powered vehicles.
All manufacturers now produce fully electric vehicles alongside hybrid vehicles with that trend only increasing as the government targets automotive brands to electrify their national fleet. This transition to electric poses unique challenges with Agnew Repair Centre seeking to be a local leader by investing in equipment, training, and safety procedures that this evolution requires.
Currently we are the only level 3 BMW Approved repair centre for electric and hybrid vehicles. Technicians have been trained by specialist BMW technicians in Munich to discharge, repair and rebuild brand vehicles. We also hold the equivalent training for Volkswagen Group, Mercedes-Benz and smart.
Aluminium repairs require specialist training with stringent specifications and environment to ensure no cross contamination of materials occurs.
Agnew Repair Centre has a multi material cabin which is used for carbon fibre composites, aluminium, and high tensile steel. This cabin and specialist technology is meticulously maintained to prevent any contamination that working with these materials require.
