To get the most from your Mercedes-Benz, it’s important to have routine maintenance done at regular intervals.
Your Mercedes-Benz is smart – it knows exactly what maintenance it needs and when. When your dashboard displays it’s service due message, contact us and let us know the message as this will tell us what your car is needing completed at that time. You should also get your car checked immediately if one of its warning lights comes on or you notice a potential problem.
For more information or to book an appointment, enquire now below or speak to a member of our team at Mercedes-Benz of Belfast on 028 9009 7161 or Mercedes-Benz of Portadown on 028 3863 3508.
The recommended interval for replacing brake fluid is every 2 years.
Brake fluid is a hydraulic fluid that helps amplify the braking force generated from the brake pedal operation. Over time, brake fluid becomes contaminated with small particles that can damage brake-related systems. Additionally, brake fluid attracts moisture which can cause corrosion on your brakes. Systems like ABS and traction control generate heat when they activate, which can also shorten the lifespan of your brake fluid.
The procedure used to replace brake fluid must be performed using approved pressure bleeding machines and brake fluid. The machines that are used by Mercedes-Benz technicians are designed to operate at pressures which ensure proper evacuation of the fluid and won't damage any of the precision braking components. These machines also ensure that new brake fluid entering the brake system is free of moisture and contaminants.

Air Conditioning Refresh also available from £49*
It is recommended that you should recharge your air conditioning system every 2 years with gas and lubricant, in order to keep it running efficiently. This is not included as part of a routine car service and so it can often be overlooked. If your car is more than 2 years old it is more than likely due a recharge.
Our Re-Gas service ensures that your air conditioning system is working efficiently by testing the gas pressure to see if it has dropped. A drop in gas pressure will result in a loss of cooling efficiency, which will make your engine work harder and in turn use more fuel. Due to its dehumidifying properties, when operating fully efficiently, your air conditioning system will also de-mist your windscreen more rapidly in cold weather.
Our fully trained technicians will take a temperature reading from your air conditioning system; remove all the old refrigerant gas, oil and dye. They then clean the whole system and remove any moisture within. Once the system has been thoroughly cleansed our technicians will inject new oil, dye and refrigerant gas and take a temperature reading again to ensure that the Re-Gas has made a difference to the cold air temperature. This process will ensure that your air conditioning system is working to its full potential.
Air Filter
The air we breathe everyday has many small particles of dirt and other substances in it, which could cause serious damage to the internal components of an engine. The Mercedes-Benz air filter is responsible for filtering these bad elements out, while still allowing the maximum amount of air to enter the engine. Over time, the surface of the air filter will become covered with the contaminants, which will decrease the flow of air to the engine.
Fuel Filter
The fuel filter is one of the most important components of a modern combustion engine. They ensure that only clean fuel is sent to the engine by removing dirt, debris and other contaminants. Modern fuel systems are very sensitive to contaminants in the fuel and even the smallest particle can cause expensive damage by eroding the fuel pump, valves or injectors. Fuel filters also maximise performance as clean fuel burns more efficiently.
Dust Filter
Dust filters are a precision fit to your vehicle and designed to prevent dust particles and nano-particles from escaping through, giving your cabin the cleanest air possible. It is recommended to be replaced every 2 years or every 15,000 miles.
For a limited time, we are offering an AdBlue Refill for £29.99 (RRP £45).
AdBlue is a urea-and-demineralized-water solution. This substance is not only non-toxic but also colourless and odourless, as well as non-flammable. As a result of a chemical reaction, the nitrogen oxides in the exhaust are converted to harmless nitrogen and water vapour.
Using Mercedes-Benz's BlueTEC technology, diesel engines can benefit from reduced emissions.
For a limited time only, we are offering a geometry check with minor adjustments (front toe) for just £99.00* (RRP £150).
It is important to have your Mercedes-Benz wheel alignment checked and adjusted so that the wheel angles match that of the manufacturer's specification, doing so comes with many benefits, such as:
