Audi Initial Diagnostic Scan

Your Audi is fitted with numerous warning systems to help highlight any potential issues early.

When a warning light flashes up on your dashboard it can be concerning.

Warning lights come in 4 varieties - Red, Amber, Green and White.

RED means you need to stop as soon as it's safe to do so.

AMBER is less severe but still indicates a problem that needs attention by an Audi trained technician.

GREEN and WHITE are for information only and don't require action.

In emergencies you can call Audi roadside on 0800 699999, our teams in Belfast and Portadown can also help during office hours.

A full list of warning lights for your Audi can be found in your handbook. These include the following:

  • Emission control/ engine management
  • EPC
  • Engine oil level
  • Red oil pressure
  • Red engine cooling system
  • Amber diesel particulate filter

At Belfast and Portadown Audi, we can complete an initial diagnostic scan on any warning light. This initial scan includes up to 30 minutes of labour and use of our Audi specific tooling and diagnostic equipment to quickly identify any area of concern.

You are in the best position to ensure your vehicle is safe and roadworthy. If you are concerned about a warning light, we always advise to contact Audi roadside on 0800699999 or your own roadside assistance.

Our Inital Diagnostic Scan includes up to 30 minutes of labour and use of systems to help identify an issue. After the initial scan, further charges may apply. We will advise you after the initial scan. Diagnostic scans cannot be completed during a waiting visit.

Initial Diagnostic Scan excludes R8 models.
