Why Choose a Cosmetic Repair Plan?

Daily driving can lead to various issues, with potholes and other obstructions causing unwanted damage and unexpected costs.

A Cosmetic Repair Plan is designed to keep your car in excellent condition throughout your ownership. The plan will provide four quarterly maintenance inspections per year. During each inspection, your car will be cleaned and visually inspected to identify any treatment or repairs that may be required. Rest assured, all treatments and repairs are guaranteed.

Who Completes the Repairs?

Revive! will take care of all your vehicle's repairs and treatments.

Specialising in SMART repairs, Revive! has the largest network of accredited repairers across the country and will travel to your home or workplace to repair your vehicle. All they require is access to off-road parking and a power source.

What is covered?

1. Cosmetic

  • Check bonnet
  • Check boot
  • Check front bumper
  • Check rear bumper
  • Check all exterior door panels
  • Check all quarter panels
  • Check condition of all wing mirror casings

2. Alloy Wheels

  • The general cosmetic condition of the alloy wheels
  • Check for any debris marks, surface scuffs, scrapes, scratches, or other minor indentations

During the inspection, in the event that our maintenance agent identifies a treatment requirement to the alloy wheel or bodywork of your vehicle which can be treated using cosmetic treatment techniques (as defined in the Terms and Conditions), we will provide these treatments up to the lesser of:

1. Cosmetic

Up to 10 treatments per annum for minor stone chips or other debris marks, surface scuffs, scrapes or scratches or other minor indentations.

2. Alloy Wheels

Up to 4 treatments per maintenance year for debris marks, surface scuffs, scrapes, scratches or any other minor indentation.

What is excluded?

A summary of items excluded are listed below:

  • Any maintenance treatment/repair request which was not completed during the period specified in the terms and conditions.
  • The costs relating to losses normally covered under a comprehensive road risks insurance policy (whether or not an excess applies) or losses resulting from a road traffic accident to the vehicle.
  • As a result of fire or theft of the vehicle.
  • Any treatments to the bonnet or boot (other than surface scratches and stone chips).
  • Any treatments to the roof.
  • Where the required treatment area in a single request for a single panel is greater than 30cm.
  • Where the body panel is ripped, perforated or torn.
  • Where the bumper or wing mirror casings are cracked.
  • Beading, moulding or unpainted plastic panels, accessories, door mouldings, wing mirror glass, window mouldings, lights of any sort or any window panel.
  • Deterioration, oxidisation, hail, corrosion, neglect or a defect.
  • Any loss of use of your vehicle or any additional costs related to the maintenance or inspection events of any kind.
  • Where the alloy wheel is cracked or distorted.
