Volkswagen reveal all-new Passat

Volkswagen have revealed the all-new 9th gen Passat, which focuses on powerful aerodynamic design, new high-efficiency drives, high level travel comfort, DC fast charging and much more!

From the design you can immediately tell that this is a Passat, however it is new from every perspective. Offering three new plug-in and mild hybrid drives and five turbocharged petrol and diesel engine variants. The new Passat can also optionally park interdependently with the implementation of Park Assist Plus, Park Assist Pro. With Park Assist Pro the Passat can drive into and out of parking spaces using just your smartphone. 

The Passat will be available with eight different drive configurations: a new mild hybrid petrol engine (eTSI) version, two new plug-in hybrid drives (eHybrid), three turbocharged diesel engines (TDI), and two turbocharged petrol engines (TSI). All drives come combined with a direct shift gearbox (DSG) as standard.

Volkswagen has completely redesigned the high-quality interior of the all-new Passat. With a new largescape display which is stylish and functional. The new Passat also offers a high level of travel comfort, with new ergoActive seats and generous space. 

The ninth generation of the Passat features a brand-new cockpit architecture. The Digital Cockpit Pro (digital instruments) and the latest-generation infotainment system are the central elements of the interior. Additionally, many of the Passat's settings can be controlled through an innovative IDA voice control function with ChatGPT integration.

Furthermore, the head-up display has been revamped and now projects essential information for the driver onto the windscreen in the virtual area in front of the vehicle.
