The New Audi Q5 Sportback

Sleek Exterior

The new Audi Q5 Sportback has a sleeker design than its predecessor. The large Singleframe grille sits higher, with vertical air curtains on either side, and the sharp, sculpted headlights give the car a more refined look.

The Q5 Sportback is available in three versions: Sport, S line, and Edition 1 specifications, while the SQ5 Sportback has a unique exterior. The Sport model features dynamic details, including stylish accents in the radiator grille and front air intake in Scandium Grey, with contrasting bumpers in Volcano Grey. The rear diffuser is finished in matte black, and the rear inlays are Selenite Silver. Sport models come with standard 19-inch 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels.

The S line, Edition 1, and S models feature larger front air intakes and a sportier rear diffuser. The Singleframe grille is surrounded by a chrome-look in matte Anthracite (S line) or black (Edition 1 and SQ5 Edition 1).

The SQ5 Edition 1 features second-generation digital OLED rear lights, and all models from the S line upward include a new projection light on the rear spoiler, increasing the size of the brake light area for added safety.

Practical Interior

The interior of the new Q5 Sportback is designed with comfort and practicality in mind, reflecting Audi's modern design approach. High-quality materials were carefully chosen early in the design process. The MMI panoramic display and the MMI passenger display (available on Edition 1) create a sleek, digital centrepiece. The interior uses contrasting elements to highlight key features, creating a spacious and stylish layout.

The cabin feels cozy and inviting, with the “Softwrap” design flowing seamlessly from the doors to the cockpit and centre console, giving it a unified and welcoming look. The interior also focuses on sustainability. Optional materials like Cascade upholstery (available on S line) and Dinamica microfiber (Edition 1) are mostly made from recycled polyester, showing Audi's commitment to eco-friendly design in the Q5 Sportback.

Availability

In the UK, the Audi Q5 Sportback will be available with three engines at market launch with further drive variants to follow. All versions come equipped with MHEV plus technology, which briefly generates up to 24PS (18kW) of additional power. All models in the series also use the S tronic seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and quattro all-wheel drive.
