Touring

"Touring" is a term used by BMW to designate their line of station wagon or estate car models. In essence, a "Touring" is a variant of a BMW vehicle that offers additional cargo space at the rear while maintaining the brand's distinctive design, performance, and luxury features.

The term "Touring" reflects the idea that these vehicles are well-suited for long-distance travel and road trips, thanks to their spacious interiors and increased storage capacity. BMW Touring models typically share many design elements, technologies, and engines with their sedan counterparts, ensuring a consistent level of performance and comfort.

 

Gran Coupé

"Gran Coupe" is a term used by BMW to describe a specific body style within their vehicle lineup. A BMW Gran Coupe is a four-door luxury coupe that combines the sleek and sporty design of a coupe with the practicality of a sedan, while often featuring enhanced luxury and performance characteristics.

 

Tourer

In the context of BMW, "Competition" is typically used to designate a higher-performance variant of a specific BMW model. BMW Competition models are engineered to deliver increased power, sportier handling, and enhanced overall performance compared to other BMW ranges in terms of; increased power, tuned suspension, upgraded brakes, exterior and interior enhacements, sport-tuned exhaust, software and transmission tuning and unique driving modes. 

 

xDrive

xDrive is BMW's name for its all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. It's designed to improve traction and stability, particularly in adverse weather conditions like rain or snow, as well as enhance overall performance and handling.
