Second Generation with a Fresh New Look!
The new T-Roc has undergone a major redesign. At first glance, its bold and clean style shows how far the model has come. While it keeps the signature T-Roc features like the coupe-style rear, it now benefits from being 12 cm longer than the previous version. This added length gives it more dynamic and balanced proportions.
Lighting plays a key role in the updated design. Standard models now come with new LED headlights at the front. Higher trims like the R-Line and Style (in Germany) include IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, connected by a slim light strip to a white illuminated Volkswagen logo. At the rear, depending on the version, there's a continuous LED light bar and a red illuminated VW logo for a striking finish.
Premium Interior with Class-Leading Features.
The T-Roc's interior has been significantly upgraded, offering a more premium feel with soft-touch materials and modern technology. The dashboard is now covered in a newly developed fabric, combined with ambient lighting, which creates a comfortable, lounge-like atmosphere.
Many features have been carried over from larger models like the Tiguan and Tayron, including the latest version of the driving experience control. This system lets you choose driving modes and adjust settings like the volume.
A standout new option in the T-Roc, and a first in its class, is the windscreen head-up display. It projects key information, such as speed and navigation icons, directly onto the windscreen in the driver’s line of sight.
More Room for Five Passengers.
The new T-Roc offers more space, making it a great choice for families and long trips. Thanks to an extra 12 cm in length, even taller passengers can sit comfortably in both the front and back seats.
For added comfort, the Style version now offers an optional 14-way electrically adjustable ergo ACTIVE seat with a built-in massage function, available for the first time in the T-Roc.
The boot has also grown, with 30 litres more space. It now offers up to 475 litres of storage when loaded to the height of the rear seatbacks.
Mild Hybrid as Standard
The new T-Roc will be offered exclusively with advanced hybrid petrol engines. At launch, there are two 48V mild hybrid options (1.5 eTSI) with power outputs of 85 kW (116 PS) and 110 kW (150 PS). Followed by two brand-new full hybrid versions that will be introduced, both with front-wheel drive.
As with the previous model, the new T-Roc will also be available with 4MOTION all-wheel drive at a later stage, paired with a 2.0-litre TSI engine, which will also become a mild hybrid (mHEV). A high-performance T-Roc R version is also planned.
All 1.5 and 2.0 mild hybrid models come with a smooth-shifting 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox (DSG).
New, Simplified Model Line-Up
The new T-Roc comes with a more streamlined and customer-friendly range of versions. To make choosing and configuring your vehicle easier, Volkswagen has grouped standard and optional features into four clear equipment levels.
These versions are designed to match different customer needs, offering well-balanced feature packages at competitive prices. Overall, the number of optional packages has been cut by 50%.
