The All-New Volkswagen ID.7 Tourer

Volkswagen has introduced the brand-new ID.7 Tourer. It may look the same as the ID.7 fastback saloon from the front but in the rear it differs significantly. As you can see from its design, the Tourer is a fusion of a classic estate in the format of the Passat and the Arteon. This is one of the first electric estate cars in the upper mid-sized class, which makes its debut in Europe.

The Tourer will be available with two battery sizes. With the top of the range version expected to reach ranges of up to 425 miles, and the battery can be recharged from 10% to 80% in less than 30 minutes. Now that’s impressive!

The new ID.7 Tourer will launch with state-of-the-art innovative technology features, such as augmented reality, and head-up display which is equipped as standard. The Tourer also features a panoramic sunroof with smart-glass, which can be switched to either opaque or clear. Also featuring the new Wellness In-Car app – which allows various functions to be adjusted with three preconfigured programmes (Fresh Up, Calm Down and Power Break) which can help enhance your wellbeing for longer journeys.

Volkswagen has also implemented premium class comfort. With the implementation of ergoActive seats it features new pressure-point massage function and automatic air conditioning – perfect for those longer journeys. The Tourer also offers space for up to five people, and has an increase in luggage space, perfect for those weekend getaways.
