The BMW M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine of the BMW M5 Competition is the most powerful motor that BMW M has ever developed for a series production vehicle. The  4.4-litre power unit delivers  625hp, 750 Nm of torque, and goes from 0 to 62mph in a mere 3.3 seconds.

Now in its sixth generation, the new BMW M5 Competition has taken an iconic design language and accentuated it with eye-catching elements. From the front, these include the new redesigned M kidney grille with a single-piece frame finished in high-gloss black. From the rear, darker three-dimensional rear lights, and a powerful rear apron with larger air diffuser and with two twin tailpipes typical of M vehicles.
