The BMW 4 Series Coupé M Competition model features a redesigned look with a single-section kidney grille that gives it a sporty appearance and highlights the model's front end. Additionally, the BMW M has a carbon roof, which makes it lighter and improves its driving characteristics when accelerating, braking, or cornering.
Featuring a sleek and modern rear light design that is easily recognizable, this design is characterized by the vertical elements of daytime driving lights. The car also reinterprets the typical BMW four-eyed face, with vertical lighting elements in the adaptive LED headlights that set visual accents. Additionally, the car features high-precision laser taillights as part of the rear lights, making it the first BMW vehicle to incorporate this technology. Assistance systems with a configurable range of functions
The BMW 4 Series Coupé M Competition comes with many assistance systems as standard. These include Park Distance Control with sensors at the front and rear, Cruise Control with braking function, Front Collision Warning with brake intervention, Lane Departure Warning with steering assistance and Lane Return function, and Traffic Sign Recognition with Speed Limit Info and No Overtaking Indicator.
Parking Assistant Plus
The Parking Assistant Plus is an optional feature that helps with parking and manoeuvring the vehicle. It includes the Surround View system, which comes with Top View, Panorama View, and Remote 3D View. Additionally, it features a lateral parking aid, Active Park Distance Control with an emergency braking function, Parking Assistant with longitudinal and lateral guidance, and Reversing Assistant.
BMW iDrive System
The newest version of BMW Operating System 8.5 has an updated home screen that displays the navigation system's map view or other customized graphics on the control display. The information screen and control monitor for the M Range now feature M-specific graphics and contents, and a new form of operation for the standard automatic climate control has been added. Depending on the vehicle's equipment, temperature setting, ventilation intensity, and heating of both seat and steering wheel can now be controlled via a special touch control menu option in the lower part of the control display or by using voice control.
