The high-performance look of the BMW 4 Series Convertible is further enhanced by the unique design of its new single-section kidney grille. The optional rear laser lights are also impressive, with their high-precision light pattern and the three-dimensional fibreglass clusters that provide sharp contours and improve visibility. In bright sunlight, the anthracite-coloured soft top shimmers with silver interwoven threads, which naturally blend with any colour.

Interior

The BMW 4 Series Convertible has an interior design that is both sporty and exclusive. The shapes are clear and simple, creating an impression that is both dynamic and driver oriented. You can experience a better driving sensation in your BMW M with the lightweight optional M Carbon bucket seats. The illuminated model badge and visible carbon surfaces that come with this option give the seats a more elegant look. The M display graphically underlines your driving experience in the instrument display, depending on the selected M Mode.

The newly developed top of the BMW M4 Competition Convertible sets new standards both visually and technically. In an innovative manner, it boasts impressive workmanship, reduces interior noise, and insulates against the cold. The fabric soft top can be opened and closed fully automatically while driving at speeds of up to 31 mph.

M TwinPower Turbo Technology

The new BMW M4 Convertible features straight six-cylinder power units that combine the high-revving characteristics typical of engines from BMW M GmbH with the latest version of M TwinPower Turbo Technology. All versions of the 3-litre engine deliver responsive power and high-torque characteristics, even at high load ranges. The shift paddles mounted on the steering wheel allow for quick manual gear selection, further enhancing the dynamic driving experience.

BMW xDrive

The new BMW M4 Competition Convertible boasts an impressive acceleration time, going from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds from a standstill. All models of the new M4 Convertible can reach a top speed that is electronically limited to 155 mph. The BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system has been designed to improve driving dynamics and traction by distributing driving power between the front and rear wheels.

Steptronic Sport transmission

With the 8-speed M Steptronic Sport transmission with Drivelogic, you can choose between manual or automatic gearshift options, ranging from sporty to comfortable.

Assistance systems with a configurable range of functions

The BMW 4 Series Coupe M Convertible is equipped with several assistance systems as standard. These systems include Park Distance Control with sensors located at the front and rear ends, Cruise Control with a braking function, Front Collision Warning that comes with a brake intervention feature, Lane Departure Warning that offers steering assistance and Lane Return function along with Traffic Sign Recognition that displays Speed Limit Info and No Overtaking Indicator.

Parking Assistant Plus

The Parking Assistant Plus is an optional feature that assists with parking and manoeuvring the vehicle. It includes the Surround View system, which offers Top View, Panorama View, and Remote 3D View. In addition, it comes with a lateral parking aid, Active Park Distance Control with an emergency braking function, Parking Assistant with longitudinal and lateral guidance, and a Reversing Assistant.

BMW iDrive System

The latest version of BMW Operating System 8.5 features an updated home screen that shows the navigation system's map view or other personalized graphics on the control display. The M Range's information screen and control monitor now display M-specific graphics and contents. Additionally, a new method of operating the standard automatic climate control has been introduced. Depending on the vehicle's equipment, you can now control the temperature setting, ventilation intensity, and heating of both the seat and steering wheel via a special touch control menu option in the lower part of the control display or by using voice control.
