Exterior
The new BMW i5 Series Touring features a striking BMW Iconic Glow Kidney Grille that creates an impressive visual effect and an unforgettable presence. The front end has a modern interpretation of the classic twin headlights and BMW grille, which gives it a unique look. In the side view, the flat window graphics and long roof spoiler highlight the car's sporty and elegant 2-box design. By choosing the optional Panorama Glass Roof, the interior looks even more spacious, and you can enjoy an open-top atmosphere in every seat as more light gets in.

All-electric
The BMW i5 Touring is the first all-electric premium model in its class. It will be offered in two versions initially. The BMW i5 M60 xDrive Touring features two integrated drive units on the front and rear axles, creating an electric all-wheel drive that can produce up to 442 kW/601 hp.
BMW xDrive
The all-wheel drive system in the latest BMW i5 Touring, called xDrive, enhances driving dynamics and traction by dividing power between the front and rear wheels. The fastest model can reach a speed of 62 mph from a standstill in just 3.9 seconds, and its maximum speed is electronically capped at 143 mph.
M Sport Suspension
The new BMW i5 Touring provides an excellent driving experience by offering a perfect balance between sportiness and comfort. Optional equipment such as an M Sport Suspension, an M Sport Braking System, and the Adaptive Chassis Professional (which comes standard in the BMW i5 M60 xDrive Touring) with electronically controlled shock absorbers, Integral Active Steering, and new lateral dynamics management enhance the driving pleasure. Additionally, the top model offers the Adaptive M Chassis Professional with Active Roll Stabilisation and Active Roll Comfort.

Charging
Easily charge your BMW i5 Touring at home with the Flexible Charging Cable or Home Charger. This charging process is simple, safe, and straightforward. And when charging at IONITY charging points, your BMW will automatically start the charging process via Plug & Charge. You won't have to worry about billing as it will be taken care of through your personal contract.
Innovative systems for automated driving and parking
The new BMW i5 Touring comes with semi-automated driving and parking systems. These systems are available as standard or as an option, and they offer a range of functions, reliability, and everyday benefits. The highlight of the range is the optional Driving Assistant Professional, which includes Steering and Lane Control Assist, and Distance Control with Stop & Go function. As standard, the new BMW i5 Touring features the Parking Assistant, which includes start monitoring, Trailer Assistant, and Reversing Assist Camera. Additionally, the optional Parking Assistant Professional allows for automated parking and manoeuvring up to 200 meters, which can be controlled from outside the car using a smartphone.
BMW iDrive with "QuickSelect"
The BMW iDrive display and operating system, which is now enhanced and based on BMW Operating System 8.5, features a redesigned home screen and a quick access function called "QuickSelect." The BMW Curved Display and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant have been designed to work together seamlessly, allowing for easy touchscreen and natural language operation. The standard BMW Live Cockpit Plus comes with the cloud-based navigation system BMW Maps. If you opt for the BMW Live Cockpit Professional, you'll get the BMW Head-Up Display and an augmented view on either the Control Display or the instrument cluster.
