The new BMW i3 Saloon introduces a fresh design language while keeping the athletic proportions of a true BMW sports saloon. Its front and rear design give it a modern, distinctive look, with the kidney grille and headlights forming one confident visual statement.
Precise contours, a striking silhouette and a reinterpreted light signature help the i3 stand out from a distance. The result is a clean, aerodynamic and unmistakably BMW design that reflects the model’s next-generation electric performance.
Inside, the BMW i3 Saloon is designed around the driver. The cabin uses expansive lines and a clear, minimalist layout to create a calm, modern and focused driving environment.
A high-resolution central display sits angled towards the driver for intuitive control, while BMW Panoramic Vision and the optional 3D Head-Up Display place key information clearly within view. Ambient lighting helps bring the interior to life after dark, adding a refined and personalised feel to every journey.

These Neue Klasse technologies support everything from infotainment and driver information to assisted driving and vehicle dynamics, helping the BMW i3 feel intelligent, efficient and engaging from behind the wheel.
The BMW i3 Saloon is fully electric and uses sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology. In the BMW i3 50 xDrive Saloon, two electric motors produce up to 345 kW / 469 hp and 645 Nm of torque, delivering strong acceleration and smooth electric performance.
The new high-voltage battery uses 800-volt technology, enabling ultra-fast DC charging of up to 400 kW when connected to a compatible high-power charging station. BMW states that the i3 can recharge enough energy for up to 248 miles in just 10 minutes, while bidirectional charging can allow the vehicle to act as an energy storage system or mobile power source, depending on equipment.
