Agnew Group Charity - 2017 Review
Added: 19 February 2018
The Agnew Group are proud to announce continued support for local Charity, Cancer Fund for Children. The company has agreed to continue with Cancer Fund for Children for a further 2 years (2018 & 2019) with the objective to raise a further £100,000, bringing the total target for the Charity to £200,000.
In 2017 staff across the Agnew Group enthusiastically participated in a range of fundraising events, exceeding the £100,000 target - a fabulous achievement.
Some of the activities completed include:
-
Climb Slieve Donard - A team from The Agnew Group conquered Northern Ireland's highest peak in May.
-
Abseil The Europa - In March, members of staff took on the dizzying heights of one of Belfast's most iconic buildings, The Europa Hotel.
-
Bog Run - Knee deep in mud for an impressive 5k, completed by a team in October.
-
Belfast City Marathon - A group of keen (and not so keen) runners took on the Belfast City Marathon on May Day.
-
Winter Woolly Walk - A family friendly event, taking in the sights of the River Lagan in February.
-
Causeway Coastal Challenge - A 10 mile Atlantic adventure between the Carrick-a-Rede and Giant's Causeway in September.
We look forward to taking part in a range of activities throughout 2018, don’t forget to follow us on social media to stay up to date.
